Martinez, CaliforniaReclaimed lumber with twenty years already in it.

Redwood, cedar and pine pulled off fence and deck teardowns across the East Bay. De-nailed, sorted, stacked, and priced to move.

Why we exist

It was headed for a dumpster.

We tear out fences and decks. Every job leaves behind boards that are genuinely too good to throw away — redwood silvered to a grey you cannot get out of a can of stain, cedar with two decades of weather in the grain.

For years it went in the bin and it bothered us every time. Old Mill Salvage is us finally doing something about it.

What we stock

Boards, by the piece.

Stock changes every week and depends entirely on what came down. Call for current availability — that is genuinely the fastest way to find out what is on the rack.

Reclaimed redwood boardEach
1×6×5$1.50
1×8×5$1.50
1×6×6$2.00
1×8×6$2.00
1×6×5 — 100 boards or more$1.25

Nail holes, checks and weathering are part of the character, not a defect. Photos are representative — every board varies. Bring about 20% more than your project needs; reclaimed stock has bad ends and waste is normal.

Accent walls & barn doors

The silvered face is the whole point. Nothing new gets close.

Planters & garden beds

Redwood earns its reputation outdoors. This stock already proved it.

Shelving, signs & bar tops

Short lengths and odd pieces go cheap and build beautifully.

Built from our stacks

What people make with it.

Customers have built accent walls, garden beds, bar tops — and one full old western town.
